City coat of arms as a decorative disk
Made for you using traditional craftsmanship, in the desired shape, size and design.
Coat of arms discs are also available for certain regions and areas.
These include national coats of arms, state coats of arms and city and municipal coats of arms. These are protected and are used in the official external presentation. For example, the city coat of arms can decorate a window in the town hall as a stained-glass window or be given as a gift for anniversaries.
We can produce such a coat of arms for you using traditional craftsmanship as stained-glass and lead glazing.
The individual work steps are
- Design work, outline and making templates
- Cutting the glass to size
- Application of the contours with black solder and contour brush.
- Application of the black solder coating, from which light edges, shading and damascening are worked out with the goose quill and stippling brush.
- Application of the glass enamel colours in various shades.
- The individual pieces of glass are assembled with lead profiles to form a window picture.
In principle, such stained-glass is still produced in the same way as in the Middle Ages, albeit with the use of modern tools and kilns.
The size and colour of the stained-glass can be adapted to your wishes. Optionally, you can receive a true-to-scale design in advance.
