Create your own stained glass window!
Individual pieces of glass are cut, joined with lead profiles, and soldered – creating a work of art from glass and light, using a technique over 1000 years old.
Our stained glass workshop is offered as follows:
It takes place on weekdays, from Monday to Thursday,
on two consecutive days of your choice, from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
That's two 4-hour sessions, for a total of 8 hours.

You would create a small stained-glass window yourself and learn all the necessary steps:
- Determine the design
- Create a layout and templates
- Select the glass
- Cut the glass
- Assemble the stained-glass window with lead profiles
- Soldering
- Puddying
- Solder on a pendant and attach a chain for hanging the stained-glass window
You will work with the following materials:
We have a large stock of colored glass!
- Mouth-blown antique glass from the Lamberts glassworks, Waldsassen
- Genuine cathedral glass from the Lamberts glassworks, Waldsassen
- Ornamental glass from Saint-Gobain
- Textured glass from Wissmach
- Opalescent glass from Bullseye
We work with lead profiles from Cascade Metals
All materials, coffee, tea, water, and cookies are included.
You'll work in our studio workshop at the "Weiberwirtschaft" in Berlin-Mitte.
